Anchor Text

Definition:

  • The anchor text or link label is the visible, click-able text in a hyperlink.
  • Anchor text is the text that’s used to create a link.
  • Text that is used in link is referred as Anchor Text.

If you click on it, it will take you to the other web page.

Definition:

  • Using keywords in anchor text.
  • Strategic use of keywords in the anchor text in inbound links.
  • Using important keyword phrases in your web page’s natural text and link it to relevant target pages.

BACK LINKS

Definition:

  • The link that is pointing to some website from another website
  • A link that points back to some website from a different website.

Definition:

Definition:

  • This is another term for back links.
  • Links pointing to some website from another website.
  • A hypertext link to a specific web page from other website

Definition:

  • It is a special page where a user is taken after clicking an advertisement.

  • The web page that a user clicks through to from search results.

It is designer and optimized for a specific purpose on specific keywords.

Definition:

  • The age of inbound/incoming or outbound/outgoing link.
  • Link Age is a concept that evolve after Google sandbox penalty in which Google consider the age of the inbound links.

Definition:

  • Any content, image, application, feature etc that naturally attract lot of links.

Definition:

  • Placing many links to same or different sites on a single web page.

Definition:

  • Link relevancy means that the site from which link is coming and the site where it points, are of same category.
  • Those links which are in the same or similar category as your site.
  • Relation between site linked and the site which is linking to it.
